AND THE JOURNEY BEGINS

29/01/2013
Today, I began the long, arduous, physically and emotionally challenging journey of getting back to Marathon Fit.
In my head, I can run any distance, but physically, I am back to Zero- so today was 2.3 kms- and I left with no ventolin as it has been so long.
I started today, for no particular reason except it was time.
I'm financially committed to 2 x Half Marathons in April and I am now chronologically committed to another Marathon in November.
I expect to be 10 kms fit by March 3
I expect to be 18 kms fit by March 31
First Half - April 7th, Clare
Second Half- April 14th Bunbury WA
I expect to be 30 kms fit by July 31st which gives me 10 weeks up to taper to become officially Marathon Fit.
It's a long way to November, and currently my biggest challenge is getting a running bib.
